For questions about realcompact spaces. A Tychonoff space is realcompact if every real z-ultrafilter on it is fixed. Equivalently, a space is realcompact if it can be embedded as a closed subspace of $\mathbb{R}^\kappa$ for some cardinal $\kappa$.
