After studying aeronautical sciences at the University of Stuttgart I worked in industry as a FEM analyst, consultant and software developper.

Currently I am teaching mechanics in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Applied Sciences in Munich.

I consider mathematics as a tool to understand and solve physical and engineering problems. I am especially interested in numerical methods, functional analysis, smooth manifolds and ODEs.
