I'm a humanities student, but would like to be able to understand the world through more than just one lens, so trying to self-teach maths (which I failed in school).

Most of my questions will be from the Cambridge International AS textbook. I will try to provide context and proof of working out in my answers, so please don't close my question just because you think it's too easy or lazy high school homework.
